Lomprayah High Speed Ferry services arrive at a ferry pier 8 km from Surat Thani city and 34 km from Surat Thani International Airport. There is no public transport from either the ferry piers in Donsak or the Lomprayah High Speed Ferry pier so the best option is to book a joint ferry and bus ticket to your final destination in Surat Thani.

The main differences between the different companies on this route are the price they charge and the type of ferry they use. The more expensive the service the more comfortable and quicker the ferry. The cheapest operators, Raja Ferry and Phantip Travel, use the slow but reliable car ferry. Songserm has its own slightly faster passenger ferry which is basic in terms of seating and amenities. Seatran ferries are newer and slightly faster than Raja Ferry services. The best ferries are the large high speed catamaran ferries used by the Lomprayah High Speed Company.
