Pattaya Beach
For most of the year all speedboat and ferry arrive into and depart from Pattaya Beach on the South Coast of the Island. Pattaya Beach is an attractive 1.1 km long white sand beach which would be a nice place to swim and sunbathe except for the constant movement of boats and people between the hours of 09:00 to 16:00 every day. There is accommodation of Pattaya Beach and it’s a lively place in the evenings, however, most visitors chose to stay elsewhere on the island.

Whilst only 480 metres long, Walking Street is the commercial centre of Koh Lipe where the majority of the island’s shops, restaurants and bars are located including Koh Lipe’s only branch of 7-Eleven. The eat all you can seafood buffet restaurants on Walking Street are popular amongst Asian visitors to Koh Lipe.
Sunrise Beach
Close to the top of Walking Street is Sunrise Beach, which is generally considered to be the best beach on Koh Lipe with the most sought after accommodation. Sunrise Beach stretches for 1.2 km and runs into Bulow Beach, also known as North Point Beach, which continues around to the North Coast of the Island. What’s so special about Sunrise Beach is the very clear coastal waters which are often said to be like those around islands in the Maldives. From Sunrise Beach you also have stunning views of nearby uninhabited Koh Adang, and two smaller islands closer to shore which are good places to go snorkelling.
