Koh Lipe is a small island roughly 2 km by 2.5 km within the protected Tarutao National Marine Park on the west coast of Thailand.
Beaches
Koh Lipe’s main attractions are its three main beaches (Sunset Beach, Sunrise Beach, and Pattaya Beach) and clear coastal water which are teeming with sea life. Nightlife on Koh Lipe is centred around Pattaya Beach where the pier is located, with the other beaches on the island having a more laid back feel.

Fishing is illegal on Koh Lipe, but you can see the fish up close by snorkelling or diving. There are plenty of good dive sites around Koh Lipe including a ship wreck at a depth of 40 metres. Kayaking and sailing are also popular activities on Koh Lipe with equipment available to rent locally.
Walking Street
In addition to the restaurants and bars operated by hotels and resorts, Koh Lipe has lots of independent restaurants and bars. The highest concentration of these independent establishments is on the 450 metre long Walking Street. Walking Street connects Pattaya Beach to Sunrise Beach and is the most developed part of the island.
