About Trang

Trang is the administrative capital of Trang Province. Trang is located inland some distance from the coastline and islands that attracts foreign visitors to the province. Trang itself is a medium sized town with around 60,000 residents.

In the evenings Trang is empty, with most restaurants shutting down by 18:00 as is the case with a lot of small provincial towns in Thailand. For food after dark in Trang your best option is to visit the night market by the railway station.
