Soi Rambutri in Bangkok
Soi Rambutri is 1 km long road in Bangkok near the famous Khao San Road. Soi Rambutri has two parts which are very different. The busier part of the road is the eastern section which runs from near to Wat Chana Songkhram on the Chakrabongse Road to the intersection of the Sip Sam Hang and Tani Roads.
The western section of the road, which runs from the Chakrabongse Road to the Chao Fa Road, has a lot less traffic and a great atmosphere. Many travellers prefer the western section of Soi Rambutri to the Khao San Road.

Soi Rambutri has lots of restaurants, hotels and street stalls, but few large bars unlike the Khao San Road. In the evening the street stalls are very popular and lots of foreign visitors come to this part of Soi Rambutri to spend their evenings. It is cheaper and a lot calmer than than the Khao San Road. There are also lots of pleasant and great value for money places to stay on the western section of Soi Rambutri.
The two big hotels on this part of Soi Rambutri are the Rambuttri Village Inn & Plaza and Mango Lagoon Place. Both offer very good standard rooms for around 1,000 THB a night. Soi Rambutri also a number of good restaurants serving a wide variety of different types of food.
