Songthaew taxis run from Krabi Bus Terminal and the main road in Krabi. They wait for passenger at the corner on the Maharaj Road near the Vogue Shopping centre before setting off and this is good place to go and wait for one.

There are two main local routes. White songthaew run from the Krabi town to Khong Jilard Pier (for ferries to Koh Phi Phi), Krabi Bus Terminal and onto Ao Nammao pier (for ferries to Railay beach) and onto Ao Nang. The fare to Ao Nang is 50 THB.
