Hua Hin Night Market

The night market on the Dechanuchit Alley in Hua Hin, near the railway station and intersecting with the Sa Song Road, is open every night from 18:00 until around midnight. The market occupies a 180 metres stretch of road which becomes pedestrianised every evening whilst the night market takes place. This market is very much intended for tourists with lots of souvenir stalls and places to eat to and drink.

The best thing about this night market, and the reason it becomes so lively in the evening time, is the food and in particular the seafood. Hua Hin is famous for its seafood. The restaurant and stalls in this market are cheaper than the most famous seafood restaurants located on the seafront in the centre of Hua Hin (around the Nares Damri Road).

For the best value for money head to the seafood stalls clustered around the crossroad between the Sa Song Road and the Dechanuchit Alley. Stalls such as Duang Jai Seafood have outdoor seating and sell great seafood dishes at under 200 THB a plate, as well as reasonably priced beer and soft drink. For a slightly more expensive meal in a proper restaurant head up the road to Rod Fai Seafood which is a restaurant decorated in the same distinctive colours and wood panelling and Hua Hin Railway Station.
