Walking Street in Krabi Town
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 16:00 to 22:00 part of the centre of Krabi Town becomes pedestrianised to host ‘Walking Street’, which is the liveliest of the three night markets in the town. Admission to Walking Street is free and there are lots of great value for money things to buy. In the centre of the market is a stage, and in front of that is a large seating area. Local performers play music from around 17:00 to 22:00 with songs in a variety of languages and musical styles. There is a stall selling beer near the stage and a camper van selling cocktails and other alcoholic drinks.

Around the central seating area is where most of the food stalls are located. A wide range of types of food are sold here from classic Thai dishes, such as pad thai, through to sushi, pizza and kebabs. At the outer edges of the market are souvenir style stalls. Some of what is sold here you find all over Thailand, such as t-shirts with Thai beer logos on them. Other stalls sell more original items such as locally crafted jewellery, locally made clothes, and individualised household items like bath mats.
