From the Northern Bus Terminal there is also a direct bus service to Don Mueang Airport which runs from 07:30 to 24:00 and costs only 30 THB. By meter taxi it costs around 100 to 150 THB from the Northern Bus Terminal to the Khao San Road, although it can sometimes be difficult to find a taxi driver at the Northern Bus Terminal who is willing to do the journey on the meter rather than asking for an inflated fixed fare of 400 to 500 THB.
