Bangkok Northern Bus Terminal
Transport Co. bus services from Koh Phi Phi arrive into Bangkok at the Northern Bus Terminal, also known as Morchit or Mo Chit Bus Station. Bangkok Northern Bus Terminal is the largest bus station in Thailand with services to and from destinations all over Thailand, as well as direct services to and from Cambodia and Laos.
In terms of onward transport in Bangkok the Northern Bus Terminal is a much more convenient arrival point in Bangkok than the Southern Bus Terminal, which is located on the western side of the Chao Phraya River and a long way from the nearest BTS (overhead suburban rail network) station or MRT (metro) station.

The easiest way to travel from the Northern Bus Terminal to other destinations in Bangkok is take a taxi to either Chatuchak MRT station or Mo Chit BTS station, both just over 3 km away from the Northern Bus Terminal, and take the metro or ‘skytrain’ to your final destination. From the Northern Bus Terminal there is also a direct bus service to Don Mueang Airport which runs from 07:30 to 24:00 and costs only 30 THB.
By meter taxi it costs around 130 to 180 THB from the Northern Bus Terminal to the Khao San Road, although it can sometimes be difficult to find a taxi driver at the Northern Bus Terminal who is willing to do the journey on the meter rather than asking for an inflated fixed fare of 400 to 500 THB.
