Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint
There are 3 very popular connected viewpoints which can walk up to from Tonsai Bay (where the main ferry pier is located) for magnificent views over the thin strip of land between Tonsai Bay and Loh Dalum Beach with spectacular sea cliffs in the background. The views are best around sunset. To get to the viewpoints you need to walk up a long flight of stairs which starts in the north east part of Tonsai Village near the Lux Guesthouse. It takes around 10 minutes to walk up the stairs to the first viewpoint, which to enter you need to pass through a check point and pay a fee of 30 THB.

The first viewpoint is not, however, the best viewpoint. The second viewpoint is better and the entrance fee is included in the 30 THB you pay at the checkpoint by the first viewpoint. It’s a much easier 5 minute walk to the second viewpoint, which is the one pictured above, where there are also two cafes. Not so many people bother with the third viewpoint which is another 10 minutes walk away. There is no entrance fee to the third viewpoint but you are required to buy a 20 THB bottle of cold water to enter into the enclosed area where the third viewpoint is located.
