Motorbike Taxi to the Pier
By motorbike taxi the fare should be 70 to 80 THB.
Shared Taxi to the Pier
By shared taxi the fare per person should be 20 THB. Red and blue shared taxis ply the route you need. Tell the driver you want to go to Koh Phayam and they will drop you on the main road near to the side road leading to the pier. Its a 5 minute walk from the main road to the pier.

From Ranong you have a choice of taking either a passenger ferry (known as the ‘Normal Boat’) or a speed boat to Koh Phayam. The Normal Boat takes 2 hours and costs 200 THB per person. By speed boat the journey takes 45 minutes and costs 450 to 500 THB per person.
