The town is, however, pleasant and picturesque. At the centre of Nakhon Sawan is Paradise Park, which is located around the edge of a large lake which used to be a swamp. Wat Kiriwong in Nakhon Sawan

The most famous tourist attraction in Nakhon Sawan is Wat Khiriwong. The centre piece of Wat Khiriwong is the Phra Chulamani Chedi which is a golden pagoda on a hill top. It’s a long, but worthwhile, walk from the town to the Phra Chulamani Chedi. The pagoda itself is an impressive structure and from its elevated location there are great views of the town and surrounding countryside. Inside the pagoda there are lots of Buddha statues, including replicas of the four most Buddha statues in Thailand. The large Wat Nakhon Sawan near Paradise Park is also worth visiting if you are in the area.
